For the second year running I have organised a course helping those applying for Core level anaesthetics jobs. It provides an opportunity to face high fidelity interview panels with the same structure used by the deanery. Each candidate cycled through the clinical, presentation and portfolio stations and received feedback just as they would on the day. As well as verbal feedback, all candidates got written feedback in the same format as HEKSS, with specific domain-by-domain feedback. Attendees from 2017 gave very good feedback and this year’s course has built on their constructive feedback.
