We designed a patient questionnaire to receive patient feedback on the service we provide in the preoperative anaesthetic assessment clinic at the Sussex Eye Hospital in Brighton.  Regarding the patient feedback, our aim was to develop a questionnaire that would truly reflect the patient’s perspective. Ideally, it would enable us to understand the aspects of care we need to focus to improve the patient’s experience according to NICE guidance on patient experience in adult NHS services. The questionnaire design and results from the feedback were presented at the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society Annual Conference at the Royal College of Anaesthetists in London.
